The Project

This LEED certified, two building, 297,000 sq. ft. industrial project is built within an existing industrial park. Intended as a future distribution centre, it is a design-build with 40’ clearance height. The building was designed on spec with four large curtain wall sections for leasing flexibility, allotting 4% space for future administrative office space.

The Conversation Pieces

Being built on a previously industrial site, this project included demolition of existing buildings, decommissioning of existing test wells, removal of about and below ground storage tank as well as tree removal and de-grubbing. The crushed concrete from the previous structures served as a portion of the material for the site fill, positively impacting both cost and certification.
