Twenty Valley Terrace

The Project
Traugott Building Contractors delivered Twenty Valley Terrace, a 68,289 sq. ft. senior living residence in Vineland, Ontario. Purpose-built to support aging in place, the two-storey facility includes 59 one- and two-bedroom suites, as well as accessible communal spaces designed for comfort, mobility, and connection. Traugott managed all construction phases—from site prep to final handoff—ensuring quality, efficiency, and full alignment with the project’s vision.
The Conversation Pieces
The residence was constructed using ICF and hollow-core slabs to support energy efficiency, acoustic performance, and long-term durability. Interior layouts feature wide corridors, barrier-free access, and non-slip finishes. Communal areas were designed to promote social engagement while preserving resident privacy. Traugott’s construction execution allowed for seamless integration with the existing facility and supported the scheduled occupancy date of April 1, 2025.

Project Challenges
A major challenge involved building directly adjacent to an operating senior residence. The addition tied into the existing community hall, requiring careful scheduling, safety planning, and continuous coordination to minimize disruption. A fixed timeline of less than two years added further pressure to maintain pace and quality without affecting the existing residence’s daily operations.
The Solution
Traugott collaborated closely with facility staff to schedule high-impact activities, keeping residents informed and disruptions minimal. Protective hoarding and visual barriers were installed, and daily site cleaning ensured a safe, respectful environment. A remote lay-down area helped keep noise and traffic away from the occupied facility. The project was delivered on schedule and to a high standard, enhancing the overall living experience for residents and staff alike.
